Lisa Anne Bate born in England, is currently living and working from her home based studio in Auckland, New Zealand.
Graduating with a BA hons in Contemporary Crafts from Falmouth University, specialising in lost wax cast glass and fine metalwork. Lisa went on to teach on the crafts degree as a Technical Instructor in Glass and gained her postgraduate teachers qualification in Creative Education. Lisa has spent 2 months on a metal and glass casting residency at North Lands Glass and Scottish Sculpture Workshop. She has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, with works in permanent collections, including The Royal Cornwall Museum and North Lands Creative Glass. More recently joining the New Zealand Society of Artists in Glass, exhibiting in Auckland and New Zealand.
